A segurança e eficácia da intervenção fisioterapêutica na assimetria craniana não sinostótica em lactentes
uma revisão sistemática

Objetivo: realizar uma síntese de evidências reunindo publicações relacionadas ao assunto a fim de investigar a eficácia das intervenções utilizadas no tratamento da assimetria craniana não sinostótica em lactentes. Métodos: revisão sistemática deli- neada conforme PRISMA P-2020, registrada no PROSPERO, o desenho do estudo foi feito de acordo com a estratégia PICOS, estruturada com estudos dos últimos 10 anos, das bases: Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), PubMed®, COCHRANE, Scielo e PEDro. Resultados: foram identificados 5 estudos elegíveis, estes avaliaram 293 lactentes, de ambos os sexos. As variáveis analisadas foram: tipo de intervenção, avaliação de AC e DNPM e presença de torcicolo ou redução de ADM. Conclusão: desfecho favorável à intervenção fisioterapêutica com terapia manual, principalmente no ganho e simetria de ADM de rotação cervical e maior ganho do DNPM. A órtese craniana foi demonstrada com um método sem significativa diferença da conduta expectante de PP.
