Abstract

Social isolation as a preventive measure against Covid-19 has become a major challenge for people unable to leave home. The consequences of this social distance are already noticeable, given the suspension of activities considered essential in the daily life of the population, which involve since the occupations performed at school, at work, in the family, at leisure and in the cultural environment. Thus, when faced with this new reality, it is up to the individual to adapt to this new social context and use it as a learning opportunity to reframe their relationships, social, affective and work dynamics. It uses narrative review within a theoretical-argumentative framework. Thus, this article discusses the changes resulting from the isolation and process of doing, organizing and carrying out daily activities. It was possible to realize that the changes caused by social isolation necessarily have to come with the incorporation of significant occupations.
