PortuguêsAbstract
Introduction: Faced with the pandemic of the new coronavirus and governmental guidelines to avoid population overcrowding, some contingency strategies were adopted to promote a reduction in the flow of users within basic health units (UBS). Objective: To assess the impact of changes in pharmaceutical care at UBS 4 of Recanto das Emas - DF. Methodology: This is an observational, cross-sectional study that analyzed the consumption of psychotropic drugs at UBS 4 in Recantos das Emas in the months of April and May 2020, considering indicators of pharmaceutical assistance, such as the average monthly consumption and the number of visits related to these drugs. Results: Of the 25 drugs evaluated, 16 showed a variation in their consumption profile. However, only chlorpromazine oral solution 40 mg / ml and nortriptyline 25 mg and phenobarbital oral solution 40 mg / ml had a significant consumption change. Conclusion: In general, there was no great impact on the consumption profiles of psychotropics in the evaluated period.
