Matrixing support in mental health as a method to enhancer in the assessment of child development: experience report

Introduction: Matrix support (MA) or matrix support is a means of producing health in which two or more teams, in a shared construction process, create a pedagogical-therapeutic intervention proposal, thus functioning as a care device in psychosocial care, since opens paths for reflections on the insertion of people with mental disorders in the community. Objective: To report the care provided by the AM team with a focus on child development, as well as its benefits for the reference teams of Primary Health Care (PHC) and the training of Medical Residents in Child Psychiatry. Method: Descriptive study of experience report. The report was given through experiences lived during the practice of Medical Residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, during a period of one year in the ESF units of the administrative regions of the Federal District that are part of the PHC network. The actions were developed during 2019, carried out once a month and lasting approximately three hours at each meeting.
