Abstract

This Technical Notebook aims to disseminate information and guidelines for planning, contracting, executing and evaluating the provision of hospital laundry services. The operationalization of hospital laundry services under the Federal District Government (GDF) is guided by the 1986 Laundry Manual and its subsequent update: Health Services Clothing Processing: Risk Prevention and Control 2009, prepared by the National Agency of Health Surveillance – ANVISA. These documents provide for the processing of clothing for health services in the Direct, Local and Foundational Administration of the Federal District.
