Abstract

Objectives: To identify in the national academic literature the prevalence of common mental disorders among healthcare workers and the impact caused by this morbidity. Methodology: An integrative review based on the search for studies available in the Virtual Health Library. Conclusion: Among health professionals, the prevalence of Common Mental Disorders is high; the nursing team being the professional category responsible for one of the highest rates. The impacts that this morbidity can cause are numerous, such as: drop in productivity, poor customer service, absenteeism, temporary leave and retirement due to disability.
