data obtained from the main databases: the online platform of the National Cancer Institute
(INCA), the Ministry of Health, the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology (SBOC), in
addition to articles and chapters of Psycho-Oncology books regarding the psychological
distress of patients with head and neck cancer. The execution of the booklet was carried out
by the graphic editor Canva. Results and Discussion: Production of an informative booklet,
presenting the main results of the literature: definition, epidemiological aspects, risk and
prevention factors, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, treatments, role of multidisciplinary team
and Psychological considerations about cancer of the oral cavity and larynx. Conclusions:
The repercussions of head and neck cancer are biopsychosocial and spiritual, therefore, it is
essential to have a multidisciplinary team that covers the patient and family in their entirety,
