Introduction: The mechanism for implementing regulatory processes took place through the National Regulation Policy established by Ordinance No. 1,559/2008. In this context, regulatory managements are the sectors responsible for promoting control, organization of flows, management and possible prioritization of access to services of the Unified Health System. Therefore, the alignment of the work processes developed by the sector is essential to improve the effectiveness of the services performed. Objective: The present work aims to report the experience of residents of the Multiprofessional Program in Public Policy Management for Health in the development of an intervention project in a Regulatory Management of the Federal District. Method: This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type. The Arch of Maguerez was used as a basis for planning the intervention, which consists of five steps: observation of reality, key points, theorization, hypotheses of solution and application to reality. The question: “What are the main difficulties faced by the sector in carrying out its activities?” was used as a starting point. Results: It was observed that the sector had a high turnover of servers, different flows for the execution of the same process, centralization of information and accumulation of demands. Therefore, the sectoral mapping was carried out in order to identify the different weaknesses, skills and competences of the servers, as well as to decentralize the information and attributions. In addition, flowcharts were prepared and shared spreadsheets were made available on the drive to control the main activities performed routinely. Conclusion: It appears that the alignment of the work processes of a particular sector and/or institution is extremely important for the organization and execution of its activities, avoiding problems such as the overload of some servers, accumulation of demands and delays in the provision of services. the population. It is noteworthy that the Arch of Maguerez can be a very useful tool to assist in the identification and resolution of problems in different contexts and/or scenarios.
