Abstract

On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the new virus, not previously present in humans, the 2019-nCoV as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). The rapid spread of the disease forced the regulation of new alternatives for work, education and daily routines in general to meet the urgencies of the new reality. Telemedicine became a reality on the rise during the pandemic. The demand for remote service has grown significantly in this period and has become essential to ensure social distancing. The objective of the research is to demonstrate the importance of Telemedicine as an innovative tool in the fight against the pandemic caused by the new Coronavirus in the Aparecida de Goiânia city.
