Abstract

A bridge to the indicators of the Western Health RegionIntroduction: The author Paulo Freire allows us to understand that education takes place through reciprocity between people (without a power relationship or hierarchy structure), but through the appropriation of reality in a critical way, within a dialectical model of interactions between educators and learners. In this way, education assumes a role of discovery to be shared, revolutionary and of a political stance in favor of human liberation (Paulo Freire et al.1989). Objective: Construction of a panel of indicators for the Western Health Region (RSO). Methods: Problematization Methodology was used in this work, as it assumes the strategy of an active teaching methodology centered on the student, who leaves the role of receiver and assumes the position of the main agent responsible for their learning (Marta Lenise do Prado et al. (2012)). Results: This methodology consists of five steps: 1. Observation of Reality: it started from the need of managers of Asplan and Management of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (hospital) to have a "living memory" of the indicators in the years 2018 to 2021 ; 2. Key points: at this moment, the great challenge to be overcome was the lack of knowledge of the Google tool "Data Studio", for this, a few hours of dedication were spent watching videos on YouTube, exchanging information with other residents and using the tool; 3. Theorization: moment when support is sought for actions in the literature, so it was necessary to study the Data Studio tool made available by Google for free that transforms data into reports and informative panels, easy to read and share; 4. Hypothesis of solution: it was the very construction of the panel that offered to visualize the indicators, if they reached the goals and some analyses.; 5. Application to reality: it was presented to the managers, who showed great enthusiasm for the tool as it would help in meetings and consequently in decision-making. Then he reinforced the process of using indicators and changing some work processes. Conclusion: As a health resident, I believe that it was and is a powerful product that makes it possible to create management strategies, by observing the indicators that serve as a guide for an evidence-based, qualified and active management.
