Abstract

Introduction: Social control has been the subject of great debates today, making it increasingly evident the importance of inspection, the participation of society, as individuals identify their rights and perceive themselves as belonging to the process of struggle in search of their Warranty. Objective: To report the experience of residents in collective health in the execution of the collective dialogues project. Methods: This is an experience report study, carried out from September 2021 to January 2022, in the municipality of Aracati-Ce. The meetings lasted one hour and took place once a week on a fortnightly basis, with a total of eight meetings within that period. Results: It was possible to identify the horizontal dialogue space as a potentiality of the project, which made it possible to understand the needs and perceptions about how the health service reached these users and articulate actions based on these demands, in addition to visualizing their weaknesses in the process of claiming their rights, promoting moments of social protagonism. Conclusion: The collective dialogues project has become an important instrument not only for health education, but also for social control and improvement of the horizontal management model, with SUS users as the main actors.
