Aplicação da metodologia do arco de Maguerez no acolhimento da demanda espontânea: relato de experiência

Abstract

Introduction: The Ministry of Health (MH) proposed, in 2004, the implementation of Reception with Risk Assessment and Classification in Basic Health Units (BHU), configuring itself as one of the potentially decisive interventions in the reorganization and realization of health promotion. Objective: To report the experience of using the Maguerez arch in the process of implementing user embracement with risk assessment and classification in a UBS, in the administrative region of the Federal District. Methods: The proposed steps of the Arco de Maguerez methodology were carried out with the Oral Health teams. Results: In the observation of reality, it was possible to perceive that the way of welcoming the users adopted by the oral health teams was in order of arrival and without adequate structure. Starting from the investigation of the key points, theoretical-reflexive alignments were studied and discussed among the team members, resulting in the theorization stage and concomitantly with this, solution hypotheses, being finally modified the reality. Conclusion: The intervention was important to expose the reality of the service and propose improvement strategies.
